2009 OSS Super V Light National Champions
Our start is part 2.
The owner George Auriemma Jr. had big plans for this season. The first race was in Biloxi Mississippi March 26-29. Visit Offshore Super Series for more information and complete schedule.
I also assisted Ryan as the crew chief on Ryan Beckley's Cat Outboard for the second year. Race weekends are busy for me working on one boat and driving another, but I love it.

Team IMCO showed up prepared and secured a Second place finish.
We have more work to do and hope to bring a flag home in the events to follow. SuperV Light is a great class. I am proud to be able to race against the teams in this class.
I also would like to thank Chris of Performance Boats Magazine for covering our events.
Lake Cumberland, KY
Team IMCO won both of the heat races, but failed make weight at post race inspection. A 2 minute penalty dropped us to 3rd place.
Sunny Isle Beach Invitational and Bimini Challenge

Lake Of The Ozarks
George and I ran Saturday in the P2 class for fun and as a warm up at the final event of the season.
We raced the #47 Fountain often side by side for 12 laps. It proved to be one of the highlights of the season as we dueled with the larger 42 Fountain. Dan Davies' boat was throttled by my friend and past throttleman Martin Sanborn. They won the race but, we had all the fun.
Sunday was the SVL race and double points were going to be awarded. We ran two heat races to decide the race and the season. Any of the three boats had accumulated enough points to win the series.
In first heat race we started in the second row.
We raced hard to stay ahead of Boatfloater and Typhoon. We started the second heat in the first row.
All the preparation and propeller work George had done paid off. We dominated the second heat and won the race.

Thanks George for great seasons.
